| | | | The pictures below show several larger views of this Colorful Small Old Carved Painted and Beaded Gourd Basket or Bowl. Shown are side, bottom, and inside views. It is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is not marked and the maker is unknown as well. At the top there is a vine and beadwork sewn on to the rim. On the side all around there is a pattern of small triangles and carved waves. It is painted in green, copper, and brown. The inside of the dried gourd is a peach color. The basket or bowl measures about 5'' wide by about 3-1/8'' tall. It appears to be in mint as made condition as pictured. |
