The picture below shows a larger view of (10) Colorful W. T. Grant Department Store Big Ten Utility Ink Pens with Packaging in this lot. This package of pens is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Grants Department Store operated from 1906 to 1976. These pens have two buttons at the top to click on. There are two of each of the colors: yellow, light blue, green, red, and dark blue. The pens are marked “USA” by the buttons. The package is marked on the two sides as follows: GRANTS BIG TEN UTILITY PENS FOR SCHOOL HOME AND OFFICE DISTRIBUTED BY W.T. GRANT CO., NEW YORK, N.Y. 10036 AMERICAN MADE All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the pens each measure 5-1/2'' long. The ink pens appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured. The packaging has separated on the right side of the blister plastic, but all of the pens are inside. Because of the age, the ink is probably dried and they most likely will not write without a new cartridge. |
