The picture shows a view of all (89) Old State of Maine Souvenir Post Cards & Paper Items in this lot. This is a large bulk lot that has been acquired or accumulated over time from many different sources. These appear to be older items and some are dated. There is a small paper ''Maine Vacationland'' pennant decal or sticker. It pictures a pine needle and pine cone wreath with a pine tree inside. It has some wear and stamp hinges on the back from being in an old scrap book. There is a small ©1959 ''Popham on The Kennebec'' tourist souvenir booklet. The (38) page booklet is filled with much information from the area, and a map in the center. It is copyright 1959 By Willard H. Bonner. Next there is a 1962 Highway Map of Maine - Vacationland. This is a very detailed map with a lot of information on both sides. There are also (17) nice color images of Maine's National and State Parks. There is an old Green Acre Inn stationery sheet from Eliot, Maine. It has a typed poem on it about ''BahaÕUÕllah''. All of the rest of the items in this lot are picture postcards. There are (85) unused postcards and (9) from the 1960s that were written on or mailed. There are far too many in this lot to describe each one individually, but they are from locations all over Maine. (45) of the postcards are identical and unused. They are from ''Highland Lake, Bridgton, Maine. All of the items that are pictured are included for one price! To judge the sizes most of the postcards measure around 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured. |
