| | | The pictures show views of this Early Massabesic Lake New Hampshire Streetcar Trolley Photograph. The first picture shows the entire photograph and the other two show a few closer views. This sepiatone photograph is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The back is blank. The trolley or streetcar appears to be an open air car. In the photo it is empty of passengers. Posing are two Conductors or Operators in uniform. This street car is No. #107 (marked on the side and front). It has a sign on the front top that reads ''MASSABESIC LAKE'', which is near the City of Manchester, N.H.. There is another sign on the side but it can not be read. Inside the car many old advertising posters can be seen. A building can be seen in the background on the left and people on the right. The photo is mounted on a heavy card that has been cropped to the size of the photo. It measures 7-1/8'' x 4-5/8''. It is in good condition with nail or thumb tack holes in the center top and bottom. It also has creasing between the holes, all as pictured. |
