Most of these items are not dated but all of them are old. Included in this lot are the following: There is an old Indian Head and Shadow Lake advertising brochure from Franconia Notch, New Hampshire. It is not dated but it is from the 1930s. This brochure opens up to eight two sided panels that include a birds eye aeroplane view of The English Villages and Shadow Lake, colorful pictures of the gift shop, cars, Shadow Lake, Native American Indian symbols, the cabins at English Village, the deluxe dining room, fishing, interior of a bungalow, Indian Head Profile, a road map, milages from different locations, and much information. There is some water damage to the front panel and a small fold hole when fully opened. Next there is a 1953 black & white photograph from Crawford Notch, New Hampshire. It is marked: CRAWFORD NOTCH, N.H. AUG. 1953 There is an old unused linen postcard of the Cannon Mountain Aerial Passenger Tramway in Franconia Notch, N.H. There is a 3 dimentional fired clay or pottery souvenir from The Flume Gorge in the New Hampshire White Mountains. It is marked: THE FLUME GORGE MADE IN U.S.A. Next is a 1940s Occupied Japan miniature souvenir bowl from the Indian Head Profile of Franconia Notch, N.H.. It pictures the rock profile and it has different flowers, and a rim in gold paint. It has a single hairline crack. It is marked: 61 FAMOUS INDIAN HEAD, FRANCONIA NOTCH WHITE MOUNTAINS, N.H. MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN There is a miniature porcelain teacup and saucer set from The Flume at Franconia Notch, N.H.. It pictures the Flume attraction on the plate and there is much gold paint on both pieces. They are marked: FRANCONIA NOTCH, N.H. It pictures an image of a der family at a lake side, and there is a gold painted rim. It is marked: WILDLIFE EXHIBIT CRAWFORD NOTCH STATE PARK, N.H. HAND PAINTED (on back) A QUALITY PRODUCT JAPAN (sticker on back) The final (2) items in this lot are identical souvenir pin back buttons. These picture the famous Willey House at the Crawford Notch, and two people leaving it. They are marked as follows: CRAWFORD N.H. WILLEY HOUSE All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the the bowl (right center) measures about 4-5/16'' wide. These items appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured. As mentioned above, on the brochure, there is some water damage to the front panel and a small fold hole when fully opened. The occupied Japan bowl has a single hairline crack. The photo is not cropped like it appears. It is simply curled and you are seeing the bottom edge. |
