| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1970s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Cloth Beach or Fishing Hat. The hat is not dated but this particular cloth was used in the 1970s to make many different clothing items such as mens pants, adult and children's shirts, halter tops, hats, baby clothes, and more. At least some of them were sold in JC Penneys department stores. This hat is made up of (6) panels and the inside is lined with a tan cloth. It has a repeated pattern with Sailor Jack & Bingo. There is lots of stitching all around the brim making it stiffer. It is marked as follows: CRACKER JACK ®
CANDIED POPCORN AND PEANUTS To judge the size the inside bottom of the hat measures about 7'' wide. It appears to be clean and in mint unused condition as pictured. |
