The picture shows a view of all (8) Old Advertising & Souvenir Elongated Cents in this lot. These were all made by a vending machine that rolls a penny between dies. These machines are usually found at popular locations, tourist attractions, arcades, airports, amusement parks, Historical sites, or any number of other similar places. The first elongated cent was a souvenir from Niagara Falls. It may have been from New York or Canada. It has an image of the famous Niagara Falls. It is marked: NIAGARA FALLS The next one has images of clovers and a Celtic design. It is marked: LUCK O' THE IRISH Next there is one that has an image of a Tyrannosaurus Dinosaur. It reads: TYRANNOSAURUS REX There are three that have a Stegosaurus Dinosaur, but two of these are error coins. The two do not have the full image or word. They are marked: STEGOSAURUS The next one has a heart and is marked: I LOVE YOU The last token in this lot has good luck symbols including two four leaf clovers and a horse shoe. It is marked: MY LUCKY PENNY These each measure around 1-1/2'' long. They are in near mint to mint as made condition as pictured. |
