| | | | The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this Small Old Enameled United Aircraft Club Membership Advertising Pin. The pin is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It was manufactured by The Whitehead & Hoag Company of Newark, New Jersey, so it is from before 1959 when they closed their factory. The pin is enameled in red, white, and blue on a a silver colored metal, but it has not been tested for silver. The pin has an airplane engine and a propeller and it is marked on the two sides as follows: UNITED AIRCRAFT CLUB
W. & H. CO. (Whitehead & Hoag Company) The pin measures 1/2'' wide. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. Part of the letter ''U'' was covered when it was made. |
