| | | The picture shows a view of all (76) Old Miniature Copper Coated Toy Charms in this lot. These are not dated but are believed to be from the 1940s. These are tiny charms of all kinds of objects. They have been seen on store display cards to send to servicemen in World War II. They were also used as premiums at movie theatres. They may have been used in old gum ball machines as well. Cracker Jack tried at one time to use them as prizes in their boxes but they were too small. These may have been made by Eppy. There are duplicates in this lot. Included are the following items: (12) Megaphone (8) Umbrella / Parasol (2) Telephone (6) Dutch Shoe (4) World Globe (11) Cat (6) Mouse (8) Hippopotamus (4) Beaver (2) Atomic Bomb (3) Dog (2) Baseball Glove (3) Knight Chess Pieces (2) Perfume Bottle (1) Fire Hydrant (1) Buddha Figure (1) Brush To judge the sizes the megaphones each measure about 5/8'' long. These appear to be in near mint to mint as made condition. |
