| | | | The picture shows a view of the (5) Old Carved Miniature Fruit Pit Baskets in this lot. These are all baskets carved from pit of a fruit. We have sold many peach pit carvings, but there are much smaller. Our best guess is that these may be cherry pits. They are not dated but they are old. These are being sold as they were found, on this old black painted safety pin. These tiny baskets each have a handle and a carved out center. These are not marked. The Artist or Carver that made them is unknown. To judge the sizes the left basket measures about 1/2'' tall. They all appear to be in mint as made condition as pictured. |
