The pictures show views of the (2) Large Old New Hampshire Boy Scouts of America Photographs in this lot. Also pictured are two cardboard backings with information that were found with these photos. At one time these old black & white photos were in frames with the backing cards. Both of these photographs were taken at Boy Scout ceremonies. The first photo is of a Scoutmaster giving a brown jug award to a scout. This was a newspaper photo and on the back is a label that reads as follows: Two Column Zinc News Cut 80 screen preferred Please mount so block is not more than 24-1/2 picas wide and return to The Cabinet Press Milford, N.H. The backing cardboard is marked as follows: Wilton High School District Championship in Scoutcraft Howie Bardol - Wilton Harold ''Pip'' Adams Troop 4 - Milford 1954 ''Little Brown Jug'' The second photo is from another Boy Scout Troop ceremony with the Scoutmaster reading from a book and there are candles in a birch log. There are many scouts in uniform. The back has a stamping that reads as follows: Lemay Photo MAR 1 1962 The cardboard backing reads: Father & Son Night March 1, 1962 The photographs each measure 10'' x 8''. They appears to be in good condition with over all wrinkling and wear as pictured. |
