The picture shows a view of all (88) Washington D.C. Advertising & Souvenir Items in this lot. This is a large bulk lot that has been acquired or accumulated over time from many different sources. All of these are older items. There are far too many items in this lot to describe each one individually, but some highlights of the items included here are as follows:

There is an old embossed advertising souvenir trivet. On it are images of The Lincoln Memorial, Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, Christ Church Where Washington Worshipped, and The Curtis - Lee Mansion in Arlington, Virginia.

There is a miniature Washington Monument with a thermometer and a tiny metal Washington Monument as well.

There is a small metal ''Souvenir of Washington, D.C.'' crumb or dust tray. It was made in Japan.

Next is an old porcelain U.S. Capitol Building salt or pepper shaker. There is a cork in the bottom.

There is a miniature souvenir collector spoon with an enameled section on the handle of the U.S. Capitol Building. The building is also in the bowl area as well.

There is a 1930 ad mat with the U.S. Capitol Building dome. These were used to make old print blocks for printing in newspapers, magazines or other printed matter. This particular one is marked ''Labor Day'' and ''382 - Aug - 30''.

There is an advertising souvenir snow dome with The White House. The water has been removed but it can be refilled with a plug in the bottom.

There are (3) old boxed U.S. Capitol playing card decks. A double set are in one box and a single deck in the other box. These are complete.

There is an old unopened Colgate - Palmolive - Peet Company miniature bar of soap that came from The Hotel Harrington in Washington, D.C..

There is an old match box with wax matches. The box is from a series of ''American Sceneries''. This one pictures the Washington, D.C. Supreme Court Building and The Capitol Building by night.

Next there are (3) old advertising match covers. These include:

Ambassador Hotel
Hotel Harrington
The Willard Hotel

There is a full 8mm 3-11/16'' reel of home movie from someone's Washington, D.C. trip. It is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. We had viewed it and noted many things that we saw on it which include the following:

Bridge, Lincoln Memorial Building, Washington Monument, People, Lincoln Statue, Jefferson Memorial Building, Mall, Mariott Hotel, Old Cars, Airplane Flying, Flags, Soldiers and Sailors Marching, President (?) Standing in Convertible Car with Flags, Military Lined Street, White House, Marching Soldiers, World War II Suribachi Monument, Lincoln & Washington Monuments, Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, Cemetery, Geese, Tiger and Leopard in Cages, Monkeys, Alligator, Rhino, Giraffe, Elephants, Zebra, Llama, Flamingos, and a Duck.

There are (14) black & white and (2) color tourist snap shot photographs with people around Washington, D.C.. These are from the 1940s, 1950s, and the color ones are from the 1970s.

The other (56) items in this lot are all old color photograph slides from around Washington, D.C.. There are a great variety of nice images on these. They date from the 1950s, the 1960s, and the newest ones are from 1976.

All of the items that are pictured are included for one price! To judge the sizes the photo slides each measure 2'' x 2''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured.
