These include the following: There are (2) old Texaco advertising Rand McNally road maps. One is ©1963 for Long Island New York & Metro Area Counties. There is some writing on the cover. The other is map is not dated but it is old. It is for Boston, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. There is a (16) page ©1959 Texaco advertising premium booklet. It is titled ''HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN FLAG AND TOURING HISTORIC AMERICA''. The booklet is filled with History and colorful images. It has some wear and wrinkling. There is an old Texaco advertising ball point pen. The pen has some wear and no longer writes. It has a Texaco logo and it reads as follows: TEXACO MAINE LUBRICATION SERVICE LUBRICANTS FOR INDUSTRY 160 PRESUMPSCOT ST. PORTLAND, MAINE (207) 772-6513 There is a Texaco gasoline or oil advertising wooden nickel. It pictures a money bag and reads: ONE WOODEN BUCK BILL VAIL'S TEXACO GOOD FOR $1.00 WITH $10.00 PURCHASE There are (5) old Texaco gasoline or oil advertising match book covers. Two of them have no matches no matches and three are unused with matches. All of them have Texaco logos. One has a Bowler and an oil can, one has a fire helmet, one with a man and an oil can, and the other two are identical. They are from the following locations: GRANT'S OIL SERVICE of Wilmington, Massachusetts GASPER BONO SERVICE STATION AND PRODUCE STAND of Norristown, Pennsylvania BART'S TEXACO SERVICE of Monessen, Pennsylvania (2) CRAY OIL COMPANY of Bellows Falls, Vermont Next is an August 1964 color photograph slide. It has a downtown scene. There is a ''RUSS'S TEXACO SERVICE'' gas station and garage. Across the street is a building with the sign ''CORPORATION OF THE GERALDTON''. Also in the image is the Fire Department, buildings, old cards and a boat on a trailer. There is a Texaco miniature toy gas station play set gas pump. It is made of plastic with a paper label on each side for ''SKY CHIEF SU-PREME TEXACO GASOLINE SUPER CHARGED WITH PETROX''. The other three items in this lot are postcards. One is unused from the Barnard General Store (and Texaco gas station) of Barnard, Vermont. The other two post cards are Texaco service reminder business post cards from 1967. They have 4c Abraham Lincoln postage stamps and were sent to a Rahway, New Jersey address from St. George Texaco Service of Colonia, N.J.. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the folded New York map measures about 4'' x 9''. These items appear to range from fair to mint condition as pictured and described above. |
