| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (9) 1948 – 1949 New Hampshire Girls or Women's Softball Related Items in this lot. These are believed to be from New Hampshire. If we are wrong, please let us know. Most of these items are dated 1948 or 1949. All of these items were once in an album or scrapbook together. There are (6) 1949 photographs of young women or ladies playing baseball or softball, (2) Suncook Memorial Field baseball ticket stubs, and a small newspaper article still mounted on scrap book paper and marked “OUR FIRST GAME – JUNE 7, 1949”. Two women's soft ball teams are mentioned at the Valley Street Diamond, the Green Arrows and the Suncook Blue Jeans. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the larger photographs each measure about 3-1/2'' x 5-3/4''. These items appear to be in good to excellent condition. The ticket stubs and the old newspaper clipping have old scotch tape on them as pictured. |
