The picture shows all (4) Old Steamship S.S. New York Items in this lot. All four are from the 1910's. First there is a filled in resevation form for ten girls who went on a trip on the steamship. The trip was from Portland, Maine to Boston, Massachusetts. The cost for three staterooms for the ten girls was only $8.00! That wouldn't even cover the cost of one small meal today! The top of the form reads: EASTERN STEAMSHIP CORPORATION Next are two old photographs. One is of some lifeboats and the other shows three decks. Next there is an old postcard from the same time. The unused post card has a nice color image of the ship. At the top it reads: S.S. NEW YORK ON EASTERN S.S. LINES, INCORPORATED To judge the sizes the reservation form measures 8" x 10-1/2". All are in excellent condition but the form has folds and a bottom corner crease. On the scan the form looks discolored, it is not. This was from the paper not being flat on mt scanner. |
