| | | | The picture shows two views of this Old Ornate Metal Clothing or Shoe Button Hook. The old button hook is not dated but it is old. The tool was once needed to button small old buttons on vintage or antique clothing or shoes. The hook end is made of steel. The handle may be silver or silver plated. the handle has an ornate design with flowers and leaves. There are two small areas on the handle that could be engraved. One side has an engraving and the other does not. The engraving looks like the letter ''M'' or ''W'' or it could be a small monogram. The button hook measures 6-1/2'' long. It appears to be in excellent used condition. There is some small flaking of the plating and rusting at the base of the hook section as pictured. |
