The picture below shows a larger view of this Old Unused & Boxed Celluloid & Metal Single Bar Wind Up Chinese Mechanical Gymnast Toy. This wind up toy is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. This toy has the number “ART. NO. MS 014” on the side of the box cover. The “SINGLE BAR EXERCISE” toy comes with an instruction sheet that is in English and Chinese.

The toy has a colorful painted celluloid figure that is on a bar that spreads apart and stands up. To operate it you would stand it up, and pull a gravity bar with weight upwards, then wind the key mechanism, and let it go. The toy figure would then do random flips as well as go up and over the bar. There is lots of mechanical action. We had acquired this toy unused, but we took it out to insure that it works properly, and it does well.

To judge the sizes the box measures about 6-3/8'' x 8'' x 1-1/2''. The toy appears to be in mint working condition, and the thin box is indented from long storage as pictured.
