| | | | The pictures below show several larger inside and outside views of this Old Evans Brass Metal Cosmetic & Mirror Compact Container. The compact is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. There is an Art Deco circle spiral design on the front, on the back, and on both sides of the panel inside. In the pictures below, the two covers look similar, but one is actually black and other brass. It is simply marked ''EVANS'' on the inside hinge The compact has a very clean mirror inside. The brass door inside opens to a compartment would hold make up or powder. It is empty as it was found. The closed compact measures about 3'' x 3/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. It has an aged patina, but it could be polished if desired. That will be up to the buyer to decide. |
