| The pictures show views of this Colorful ©1949 Henry & Henrietta Comic Strip Character Child's Wallet. This old wallet is made of red vinyl and it has a colorful embossed paperboard cover. There is a metal zipper around the sides. Each side has a comic strip scene. One side has Henrietta pushing a baby buggy with a duck, a chicken, and there is a farm with a barn and silo in the background. The other side has an image of Henry with a knife after he had carved a heart on a tree with ''Henry Loves Henrietta''. Inside is red vinyl. There is a see through snap pocket, a two sided page for photographs, two see through pockets for cards or an ID, and a larger pocket for currency. The photo page has the original paper images with an actor (Rock Hudson) and an actress (?). One of the pockets has a paper inside with old hand written names and old Somerville, Massachusetts mailing addresses. The wallet is marked on outside and inside as follows: HENRY

PAT. PEND. To judge the size the closed wallet measures 4-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. It appears to be in excellent used condition. The paperboard cover has a crack on each side by the folding side as pictured. The zipper works well. |
