The picture below shows a larger view of this Unused ©1957 Band Of Angels Yvonne DeCarlo Movie Advertising Ad Mat Mold. The ad mat is not dated but it is from 1957 when this movie was made. This is a mold in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this. The ad mat is like miniature 3-D poster and would look nice framed, or you could still use it and make print blocks from it. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board. This admat has the title, actors names, and an image of Yvonne DeCarlo and Clark Gable embracing. It is marked as follows: HE BOUGHT HER... SHE WAS HIS! CLARK GABLE - YVONNE DECARLO FRONTIER GAL BAND OF ANGELS ALSO STARRING SIDNEY POITIER IN WARNERCOLOR FROM WARNER BROS. WB 101 The ad mat measures about 3-1/8'' x 2-9/16''. It appears to be in near mint to mint unused condition as pictured.Below here, for reference, is a cast list from this 1957 movie: Clark Gable - Hamish Bond Yvonne De Carlo - Amantha Starr Sidney Poitier - Rau-Ru Efrem Zimbalist Jr. - Lt.
