The picture shows a view of this Old Miniature Lithographed Tin Toy Weight Scale. The other side looks the same. The scale is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. The base section is red with white polka dots. The balance section is plain. It looks like it had a silver wash finish at one time. The scale is a little larger then those that were used as prizes in Cracker Jack boxes in the early 1900s. This one may have been one that was included in one of the many early grocery store play sets that were produced. It measures 2-7/8'' x 1'' x 1-1/2''. It is in excellent condition as pictured.
