The picture shows a view of the cover of this August 1949 Famous Fantastic Mysteries Magazine. This 1949 magazine has (132) pages with a few long stories including ''The Valley of Silent Men'' by E. Charles Vivian and ''The Counter Charm'' by Margaret St. Clair. Within the many pages are advertisements of the times. The colorful cover pictures a pretty woman with a see through dress and in the background there are many similar dressed women inside a flower. The magazine measures 6-7/8'' x 9-1/4''. The pages inside are in excellent condition and the cover has some paper loss and tattered edges as pictured.
