This jumping frog is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. It is not marked, and the maker is unknown. It has a spring in the bottom that makes it jump. The spring is temporarily held in a black gum like substance. This toy was also sold in old five and dime stores, as well as old novelty, magic trick, and toy catalogs. The prize or toy frog measures about 1-3/4'' x 2-1/2'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. |
