| | | | The picture below shows two larger views of this Colorful Old Plastic & Metal Mod Decorative Sculpture. This sculpture is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. There is no marking and the maker is unknown. It may have even came as a kit that you made yourself. The sculpture is made up of (10) half round lucite balls of neon colored, translucent plastic, at the top and a larger clear one for the base at the bottom. The upper color ones would appear to float above. Any light shining on these makes the colors really stand out. The wires are not bent, but they could be spread out for an even better effect when they move or float above. Without being bent, as shown, the sculpture measures about 13-5/8'' tall. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
