The pictures show a view of both sides of this Old Remote Control Mechanical Toy St. Bernard Dog. The toy is not dated but it is old. There is a ''Made in Japan'' paper sticker on the bottom of the dog. The only other marking we could find is the letter ''Y'' in a leaf shape on the controller. The dog has a barrel held on with a vinyl strap and a metal buckle on his back.

We put batteries inside and tried it, but nothing happened. It takes (2) ''D'' batteries (not included). The wiring is simple and we guess that there is just a loose wire somewhere. Judging by the mechanics, it looks as though the dog walks, sits, his head moves, and he probably barks as well.

The dog measures about 7-1/2'' long by about 7-1/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured, but it is not working as mentioned above. The battery compartment is clean.
