The picture shows all (6) Old Hand Painted Celluloid Charms in this lot. These are not dated but are from between the 1920's and 1940's. I have been told that these were used as premiums on liquor bottles, beer bottles, in bread, and others as well as carnival prizes and sold in five & dime stores. Contrary to popular belief these were never used as a prize in a Cracker Jack box. They date before charms were used in gum ball machines. Included in this lot are the following:

Horse With Rider
Penguin With Top Hat
Clown In Costume
Football Player With Ball
Dutch Boy With Water Buckets
Circus Elephant

All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the clown measures 1-1/4" tall. These range from excellent to mint condition as pictured.
