The picture shows the (3) Old Glass Beadwork Items in this lot and a closer view of some of the beadwork. These may have been made by Native American Indians but I have no way to prove this. The first item is a stunning necklace. It is made of colorful glass beads. It has a design repeated on both sides. Near the bottom it has an Eagle or other bird design. There is a tassel bottom with (19) of the original (20) strands. There is a smaller section as made at the top. There is a separation on the left side with six rows of missing beads. The original string is present and this can be repaired. Looking closely I see there are a few more missing beads on the left of the right side. They are repairable as well. Even with the needed repairs this is a very nice necklace. The Second item is a color glass beaded bracelet. There are tied strings connecting the sides underneath. It has two black diamond shapes on white with a design that appers to be "BB". The third and final item in this lot is a color glass bead medallion. The dark beads are all faceted. all of the beadwork on this is sewn directly onto a leather circle. It was not made and applied after. There are some hanging strands of beads. There are (8) of the original (10) strands present. To judge the sizes the necklace measures 16-1/2" long. |
