These are not dated but are believed to be from the 1950s. Included are: (1) 5.00 bill, (1) $2.00 bill, (4) $1.00 bills, and (2) 50c bills. These were acquired with the purchase of Poll Parrot shoes and at the time could be redeemed for premium items that could not be bought with real money. There may have been a catalog but that is not known for sure. All of them picture the Poll Parrot logo and are clearly marked. One of them (the $2.00 bill) has a stamping that reads as follows: SAFFORD WILEY AND McCALL
502 MAIN ST., NEWTON, KANSAS These each measure about 6-1/8'' x 2-5/8''. They are in very good condition with some creasing from use. |
