The picture shows all (5) Old Candy / Candy Bar Wrappers in this lot. Actually, the last one is not a wrapper (see below). The dates of these are unknown but they are believed to range from the 1930's to the 1950's. The lot includes: An unused Keene Kisses candy wrapper. With this one the candy would be in the center and the ends twisted to close. It was from Gurnsey Bros. & Co. of Keene, New Hampshire. It is clean and in mint unused condition. Next there are two different 1-3/4 oz. Necco Chocolate Mint Pattie wrappers. These were from the New England Confectionery Company (NECCO) of Cambridge, Massachusetts. They are both clean but have some heavy wrinkling. The one with the round design has a few small tears. Next is a 1-3/4 oz. Welch's Chocolate Covered Fudge Bar wrapper. It has not been fully opened and flattened. Only one end is opened. It was from the James O. Welch Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is clean and in near mint condition. Last in this lot is actually not a wrapper. It is shown unfolded, but it was used as a price marker in a glass display case. It was from Mary Ann Molasses Cookies. It was from the National Biscuit Company (NABISCO) of New York, N.Y.. It is clean, has no price marking, and in near mint condition as pictured. To judge the sizes each of the NECCO wrappers below measure 5-5/8" x 5-5/8". |
