| | | | The picture shows this Old Master Chocolate Makers Chocolate Peppermint Candy Bar Wrapper. This is a 1-5/8 oz. wrapper. This candy was made by Master Chocolate Makers of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Opened as seen it measures 6-5/8" x 4-1/2" and in excellent condition but there is a hole at the bottom and the missing piece can be seen at the top in the scan. In searching for old candy wrappers I have found that it is not as easy as it might seem. No one saved these and now they are quite rare to find. This one came from a candy, tobacco, and gum jobber in New Hampshire. Someone in the company had saved wrapper samples of all the candies they sold. Items acquired were from the 1910's to the 1940's. The business has been long since gone. This one is from that lot. |
