This old professional photograph is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The name of the child, and the location it was taken are unknown. The photo was taken outside in a child's wooden chair. She is nicely dressed with a dress, a bow on her head, and dark brown or black shoes. She is wearing a bracelet and a necklace or two. The girl is holding an old dressed porcelain doll. The maker of the toy doll is unknown. The photograph is mounted on a gray mat board with an embossed oval scrollwork design and a beveled outer edge. It is marked with the studio name “GRAHAM” below and to the right of the photo. The back side is blank. The mat board measures about 6'' x 9'' and the mounted photograph measures about 3-1/2'' x 5''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
