| | | | The pictures show views all around this Old Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts Pierced Copper Metal Candle Holder. A bottom view is shown as well. This candle holder is not dated, but it is old. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. It is made of thin copper with copper cotter pins that spread open inside. The sides are hand punched or pierced with an embossed morning glory looking flower design on each of the four sides. There is a square section at the top to catch wax, and a holder for a candle. The candle holder measures 7'' tall and will hold a candle up to 7/8'' wide. It appears to be in good condition with an aged patina as pictured. The metal is thin and it is easily bent and can be easily straightened. There is one missing cotter pin at the top of one side, but it can be easily replaced. |
