| | | | The pictures show a view of this Old Boxed Wilton Black Falcon Pirate Sailing Ship Model Kit with the original instruction sheet. The ship model is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. This ship was made by Wilton and it is very detailed all over including all of the cannons, boat, and helm on the deck. This Captain Kidd Pirate ship was made and sold to decorate the top of a birthday cake, but it was also a nice toy model ship afterwards. Some assembly is required. It was temporarily assembled when photographed. The parts to be assembled have not been glued but they could be if desired. The kit comes with the original cardboard box, and the original Wilton instruction sheet. It is complete except for maybe a small chain piece for the anchors. We do not know if it originally came with a chain section or not. It comes with a Jolly Roger (skull & crossed bones) flag, and a nicely marked base to display it on. It is marked on one sail and on the base as follows: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLACK FALCON

NO. 602 To judge the sizes the box measures about 8-1/2'' x 4'' x 4-1/4''. The model ship appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured. Two thirds of the instruction sheet has age discoloration where it was in contact with the box all these years. |
