| | | The picture shows a view of this 1940 - 1941 Boston Navy Yard Annual Banquet & Dance Souvenir Program Book & Ticket. This banquet & dance was for The Sheet Metal Shop of The Boston Navy Yard and Annex and it was sponsored by Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union No. 395. The ticket is from the Third Annual Banquet on November 9, 1940 and the book is from the Fourth Annual Banquet on November 29, 1941. Both of the events took place at the Hotel Bradford in Boston, Massachusetts. The cover of the book pictures a U.S. Destroyer ship (U.S.S. Morris DD-417 ?). There is much information in this booklet with many people named. There is a Proclamation from President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a menu, dances, events, invited guests, retired men, and much more. The book measures 6'' x 9''. It appears to be in excellent condition with some light soiling on the cover as pictured and a scrap book page pasted on the back. The ticket has some wrinkling and paste on the back as well. The book has many advertisements including the following: Quartermen and Leadingmen's Association Retirement Federation of Civil Service Employees Somerville, Massachusetts Mayor John M.
