This book is very similar to Big Little Books, and Better Little Books of the time. The Western book was by Robert Marshall, and Illustrated by Neil Slocum. It was printed in the U.S.A. by the Saalfield Publishing Company of Akron, Ohio and New York. It is copyright MCMXL (1940) by the Saalfield Publishing Company. There are many comic strip illustrations inside. In addition to that, the last page advertises other similar G-Man, Detective, and Gulliver’s Travels Books. This book measures about 3-1/2'' x 4-1/2'' x 1-1/2''. It appears to be in excellent condition with only the lightest wear to the cover as pictured. |
