| | | | The picture shows a view of all (6) Old Cigarettes Advertising Premium Silk Butterflies & Flowers in this lot. These were included in packs of cigarettes. They are not dated but they are believed to be from the early 1900s. Three of these have a different colorful flower image, the flower name (Daffodil, Purple Crocus, & Swet Pea), and they are marked ZIRA CIGARETTES at the bottom and ''FACTORY NO.7 5th DIST., N.J.'' at the top. The other three have a different colorful butterfly image, and they are marked TOKIO CIGARETTES at the bottom and ''FACTORY NO.649 FIRST DIST., N.Y.'' at the top. We do not know how many different silks were in these sets. To judge the sizes the butterfly tobacco silks each measure about 2-1/8'' x 3-3/16''. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
