The pictures show a view of (12) of the (13) 1938 Paragon Amusement Park Nantasket Massachusetts Photographs in this lot. One photo had missed getting scanned, but it is similar to the last photo pictured below. These photos were found together and they were once in an old photo album or scrap book. The first photo is believed to be from Paragon Park. It has a Carousel Building, a Roller Coaster, a boy on a car ride (go carts with bodies), and signs for the ''Palm Garden Grill''. The other (12) photos were taken on the same family trip. If they are not at the Paragon Park or Nantasket, Massachusetts, they are believed to be nearby. There are some signs by the carousel, by the plane, and by the speedboat with small print that we can not quite make out. One photo has a horse ride, one has a speedboat ride, (6) have an airplane ride, and (3) are scenic photos of the water. These are all marked on their backs as follows: PETER PAN PRINT REGISTERED SEP 7 1938 ALVES PHOTO SERVICE The black & white snapshot photos each measure about 4-1/2'' x 3-1/4''. They appear to be in near mint condition as pictured. On the corners of the backs are some extra black scrapbook paper from being pasted to album pages at one time. |
