The pictures below show larger views of all (4) 1940s American Red Cross Advertising Items in this lot. Included here is a large format negative of a young man in a suit. With a magnifying glass you can clearly see and read the pin on his lapel. It is one of the pins in this lot. The negative is not dated but it was acquired as one of a large collection of 1944 World War II era negatives. His name and location are unknown. It is on Eastman Kodak Safety film. With this size of negative you can create very clear large prints. We have included with the negative one of the American Red Cross Blood Donor pins, a screw back type button or pin, and lapel stud button. They each have an American flag shield and branches. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the negative measures about 4-3/4'' x 3-1/2''. The negative appears to be in mint condition. The screw back button does not have the back section and the lapel button hole type has some rusting on the back as pictured. |
