The event took place on August 27th, 1938 with an Annual Ball the night before at the Pemberton Inn in Hull. The events listed include: Junior Running Races, Pony Rides, Water Sports, a Punch and Judy Show, the Grand Parade, a Tennis Tournament, Junior Baseball Games, Yacht Racing, Music, Fireworks, Children's Entertainment, a Motion Picture Show, and a Senior Baseball Game. The event was put on by The Hull Gala Day Association, Inc. (1908 - 1938), and the program lists many people that were involved in the event. The program measures 3-7/8'' x 5-7/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
