| | | | The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Old Hopalong Cassidy Comic Book & Movie Cowboy Hero Girl’s Painted Brass Premium Hair Barrette. This premium is not dated, but it is from the early 1950s. It was used as a Big Top Peanut Butter premium as well as sold in stores. It has an embossed and pierced design, with Hoppy’s image in a rope border, what looks like a leaf design, and Hoppy’s initials “HC” in red. The hair clip is intact on the back. The barrette measures about 2-1/8'' x 7/8'' x 1/4''. It appears to be excellent condition with only light wear to Hoppy’s black hat as pictured. |
