| | | | The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of this Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed and Embossed Tin Toy Prize Jumping Frog. This jumping frog is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. I do not have a Cracker Jack prize ID number for these. It is marked “MADE IN JAPAN” on the top, but the maker is unknown. It has a spring in the bottom that makes it jump. The spring is temporarily held in a black gum like substance. This toy was also sold in old five and dime stores, as well as old novelty, magic trick, and toy catalogs. The prize or toy frog measures about 1-3/8'' x 2-1/4'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. |
