| | | | The pictures below show several larger views of this Old Pair of Porcelain or Ceramic Black Poodle Dog Figurine Book Ends. These bookends are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. They are black with painted features and gold painted accents all over. Each of these has a pair of poodle dogs and a pair of books, one standing and one lying down. On the bottoms are old green felt material to protect surfaces. The book ends measure about 5-7/8'' x 4-7/8'' x 2-1/4''. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. One bookend has a tiny chip at the back top corner of the standing book (see picture #2). |
