| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of the (2) 1896 American Pepsin Gum Advertising Premium Animal Celluloid Pin Back Buttons in this lot. These pinback buttons were part of an 1896 collection of pinback buttons that we had acquired. They were used as an advertising premium by The American Pepsin Gum Company. Similar ones were used by tobacco or cigarette companies at that time as well. One of these has an image of a ''Game Rooster'' and the other has a bison or American ''Buffalo''. There are paper inserts in the back. The fronts, edges, and back of these pins are marked as follows: GAME ROOSTER BUFFALO
