| | | | The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of this 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Toy Prize Red Tube Whistle. This embossed whistle was originally ordered by The Cracker Jack Company in 1931, and re-ordered in 1934, 1938, and again in 1945. It still has some of the original old red paint. It is embossed on the top “CRACKER JACK”. The whistle was made in silvered tin, and a few painted colors such as this one. There are a few Cracker Jack ID numbers for this prize including Z-0136, Z-0433, and (same whistle but not embossed) Z-0434. They were made by The Gray Stamp & Manufacturing Company of Plano, Illinois. The whistle measures about 2-1/16'' long. This whistle appears to be in good condition with paint wear as pictured. |
