| | | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of the Matching 1955 Wayne County State of Michigan Marriage License & Certificate in this lot. These are both from the same Detroit couple who were married on August 12th, 1955. The papers are filled in, witnessed, and embossed sealed. Hopefully these will make it back to the family that they belong. At least the woman, from other documents, was from Akron, Ohio. The names are Robert E. DeLisle and Norma E Garman. The witnesses were Robert William Newman and Olive Marie Mix. All of Detroit, Michigan. The marriage took place on August 12th, 1955 at The St. Luke Lutheran Church, by Pastor Karl W. Mix. Both of these for one price! To judge the sizes the fancy Germany printed certificate measures about 7-7/8'' x 10-3/4''. They both appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured with folds as made. |
