| | | The picture shows a view of most of the (37) 1940s Irish Setter Show Dog Photographs in this lot. There are some not seen that are in a small photo album at the top right. There is also a four panel booklet (top center) that advertises these Irish Setter dogs and the awards that they won back in the 1940s. They had been bred by a West Medford, Massachusetts family. A few of the photos and the booklet are dated between 1942 and 1947. In the booklet many of the dogs are named including: 39;39;Redlog39;39;, 39;39;Sweet Lady39;39;, 39;39;Redlog King39;39;, 39;39;Gingerbread Boy39;39;, 39;39;Ginger39;39;, 39;39;Pandy39;39;, and more. The photographs have the dogs in different poses at dog shows and at home. To judge the sizes the largest photographs measure about 5-7/839;39; x 3-1/239;39;. The photos are in mint condition as pictured. The booklet has some wear from handling. |
