| | | The picture shows a view of all (47) World War II OPA Red & Blue Point Tokens With Wallet & Envelope in this lot. These were used during World War II when rationing was done. They were used as change when ration stamps weren’t all used on a purchase. We do not know what the difference between the red and blue coins were. In this lot there are (36) red tokens and (11) blue ones. These have different letters beside the number one in the center. Also included in this lot is an old cardboard token pouch or wallet that many of these were saved in. There is also an old envelope from the Office of Price Administration OPA Mail Center. The tokens each measure 5/8'' wide. The tokens range from good to mint condition as pictured. The token pouch or wallet has some wear from use. The envelope is included but it is in poor condition. |
