This patriotic postcard was postmarked on July 2nd, 1906 from West Kennebunk, Maine and was mailed to a New York City address. It has an undivided back and a one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp. The picture side has an image of Uncle Sam looking out to sea at a United States Navy battleship. His red and white striped pands are applied to the card and in his pants is a folded paper. The folded paper has the lyrics to ''UNCLE SAM'S FAVORED SONG'' ''YANKEE DOODLE''. The post card was published by Franz Huld of New York. It measures 3-1/2'' x 5-1/2''. The post card appears to be in fair to good used condition with wear as pictured. |
