| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old American Gas or Oil Advertising Printing Blocks in this lot. The images seen on this listing has been digitally reversed so that they may be read easier here. The actual print block is in reverse for printing. The advertising block is not dated but is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. It is made of a solid block of metal. These print blocks came with others from the areas of Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They each picture the American logo with torch. The logos are identical in size but one block is larger. To judge the sizes the larger block measures 1'' x 3/4'' x 7/8''. They are in near mint condition. |
