The image is believed to be of a 1944 U.S. Army Air Force Band. The young men are in uniform with their instruments. There is a bass, saxophones, trumpet, trombone, drums, microphone, and more. On the wooden stands there are insignias and they read ''51st CTD''. There is a U.S.O. flag on the wall. The location of the image is unknown. The negative was found among many large negatives from 1944. The negative measures 4-5/8'' x 3-1/2''. It is in mint condition as pictured. |
